Within the book, Neil has added a short one page narrative to each picture, giving the location and a brief history. ​

 

To make the book even more interesting, and also to appeal to younger readers, he has added certain things to look for in each picture, such as a Police Sergeant, the numbers 1057, a man with a dog, and a cat, as well as many other things. ​
